Beaches on the Ionian Sea
In the municipality, visitors can enjoy endless lace-like coastlines under a unique sun, which, combined with the greenery and the blue of the sea, delights the senses. The beaches of the Municipality of Preveza can be distinguished between those located near the city and those stretching along a 60-kilometer coastline of the Ionian Sea. They are ideal spots for surfing, sailing, water skiing, parasailing, boat rentals, and fishing.

Artolithia Beach (Rizon Area)
A secluded and quiet beach, ideal for visitors seeking peace and clean waters.
The name Artolithia likely originates from the Byzantine word “Ortolithia,” because the small port is formed by upright, tall rocks. Artolithia was the landing point of medieval Riniasa, referred to as Arnaousa in 1443 AD.

Visitors can wake up in the morning and step directly from their accommodation into the sea.
